Disability Service
The Daughters of Charity provided services to persons with intellectual disability in Ireland since 1926. To-day these services are based in Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary and provide a wide range of services to adult males and females with moderate, severe and profound disability.
All services aim to provide supports that are “Person Centred” and in keeping with best practice.
Avista CLG are now the providers of these services.
Some sisters continue to work in a chaplaincy context.
