sign of hope

Congratulations to Sister Catherine Tansey DC whose life long devotion to Our Lady has at last culminated in the publication of this long awaited book. It is a timely publication as the opening lines read ‘To a world in turmoil, anguish and fear, the offer of help from the Mother of God must come as a welcome sign of hope’ (p.1). Is there any time in history that the world is in more need of hope?

MARCH 25 - CELEBRATION OF VOWS

At our 10.00m Mission Mass earlier today we witnessed the renewal vows by Sr Louise, Sr Angela, Sr Carmel and Sr Josephine. The Solemnity of the Annunciation is their annual day of rededicating their lives to serving God and his people, so their presence at Mass was very moving and meaningful.

The Daughters of Charity celebrate the feast of St Louise de Marillac annually on the 15 March. They celebrate her life through prayer, through the celebration of the Eucharist, through deepening their relationship with her and summing it all up by enjoying a meal together. On occasion, they also celebrate with visitors who regularly visit their houses.

“Do You Know What I Have Done to You?’

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER HOSTED AT SACRED HEART PARISH, KILLINARDEN 6 MARCH 2015.

Though many think of Bahamas as a beautiful tourist spot and a place for holiday, that is not the full picture.
