The visit of the mothers and the one Dad from St Vincent’s, North William Street to Dunardagh co-incided with Pope Francis talks on motherhood yesterday in the Vatican. Vincent de Paul would call this event providential rather than co-incidental. 

Honorary Degree on Kenya Daughters of Charity

DePaul University, Chicago, Confers Honorary Degree on Kenya Daughters of Charity.

December 6, 2014 was a day of celebration for the Daughters of Charity in Kenya.  DePaul University granted an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters to the Kenya community (citing the names of 20 missionaries, 14 Kenyans and 8 Sisters who had returned to their home provinces).

Members of Vocations Ireland visited the parish of Christ the King, Cabra

On the weekend of 28,29,30 November 2014, a number of the vocations directors from various congregations of the Archdiocese of Dublin  gathered in the parish of Christ the King, Cabra to celebrate the  gift of vocation.  The members of Vocations Ireland are very grateful to Fr Pat Carroll PP of Christ the King and Fr Tom O’Shaughnessy for facilitating the event.
