World Day of Prayer, Reflection and Action Against Trafficking in Persons

Sunday, 8 February marks the first World Day of Prayer, Reflection and Action Against Trafficking in Persons.

Human trafficking is the acquisition of people by improper means such as force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them for sexual or labour purposes, domestic servitude, child begging or the removal of their organs. It is a modern form of slavery.

A Blanket Story.
It was the usual hot day, and who could dream of being wrapped in a blanket, but it did happen here in Kiio, thanks to our Christmas donors.  It was a day of great joy; we had visitors from Ireland/Nairobi.  It was also the day we had planned the party for the elderly.
